Happy New Year!
Happy New Year to all my loyal blog readers! I hope you all had a happy celebration.
I rang in the new year at Kelly & Mikes wedding at the Franklin Institute. Was my first new years wedding and it was great to be a part of the party.I’m not one that is much for resolutions but I do have some goals and reflections.
2011 was a great year and a heartbreaking year for me. I’ve learned a lot and grown a lot this past year. I’m excited to move on to 2012.
One of the things I haven’t done enough of is create images for myself. Its one of my goals for 2012. I love going out to shoot landscapes, urban landscapes and just candid street photography. I haven’t done that for myself in a long time and in 2012 I am going to take some time to do that on a regular basis. A lot of you have requested an art gallery that you can purchase my art prints from and I will have that in place and available this year.
I have a lot of plans for the business as well. I realized this year that I spend too much time in front of the computer. Its hard to let go of certain things when your work is so personal but I’ve been putting a few things in place that won’t make handing these things over so hard. I let myself get so busy that I didn’t have time for family and friends. These things are very important to me so its a number one priority in 2012.
I ran my first 5k in November and I plan on running more in 2012. It was a great experience and sense of accomplishment. I used to hate running, who knew?
2012 I am excited to see you on my doorstep. You are a welcome sight. Its going to be a great year, I have a lot planned for you.
Below are some of my personal images, I hope to share many more with you in the future.
Happy New Year everyone!
