Philadelphia family sessions will always be one of my favorite things to photograph! Especially this particular family, they hold a pretty special place in my heart. I’ve been watching and documenting them grow since AJ was a year old! We have developed a special bond/friendship and I just adore them all. This years shoot was a little more low key than our usual sessions. This was the final session before I have my baby, any day now, so I was moving a tad slower than normal. We did something we never usually do, drive to our locations, which on this hot day was a life saver! This year we focused the shoot at the Barnes Foundation. Its been a special place to these guys, a save haven, and a fun learning experience each time for the kids. It was also the first time, eek, that I have been there! They somehow convinced us to walk through the entire museum doing scavenger hunts for pieces of art, no cameras allowed for that part but we had a great time even if we couldn’t document it. These kiddos know their stuff and it was a lot of fun to see the enjoyment they got from finding the artists and their work. We had a lot of fun outside at the fountain, splashing and playing on such a hot August day. I highly recommend a visit to the Barnes, its a beautiful building inside and out! I plan to go back and spend some more time. As per our usual we ended the session with some cold sweet treats! Everyone deserves a reward like that after such an active fun morning out and about!

This colorful Congress Hall wedding with Beth and Joe was the best wedding to end on before my maternity leave! I went to college with Beth, she was in my photography class before switching majors our junior year. We had some fun film and video projects together and I still have test polaroids that we took in the studio! It was so special to be there for her on such a special day! Beth and Joe make such an adorable couple. They are brainiacs and athletes, they love science and technology, the outdoors, bikes and adventure! We had a great time wandering around Congress Hall for pictures, I never tire of shooting there, its so colorful and you are just naturally happy when you walk through the different spaces. We had a special appearance from the blue pig who is a prominent figure/mascot for the hotel. This was the first time I’d seen him and I’ve been there more than a few times. We had a lot of fun with him. Beth and Joe’s good friend Marc officiated the wedding, he was witty and funny and really gave the personal touch to the ceremony that fit Beth and Joe so well. It really was a fabulous day and I couldn’t be more thankful to be there to document it for them!
We had such a beautiful day in Cape May at Congress Hall! Robertson’s Flowers did a beautiful job on all the florals. Make Me Up Pretty was on point for the hair and make up, Beth looked stunning! True to Beth’s style the 80’s dance party reception took you back in time thanks to Enchanted Celebrations DJ’s! Pete Malone was on hand second shooting with me and all was right with the world! I loved all the black and white polka dots that accented the day, everything was perfect. Thank you for having us there with you, couldn’t be more excited for the both of you! Congratulations.

Such a fun family session! Kieran’s dad is one of the partners at Revzilla and they spend a lot of time at the office so when we were figuring out the best place to go for pictures this was a clear winner, Revzilla family shoot for the win. I could totally work there, it has such a fun and open atmosphere. No wonder Kieran likes to go hang out with dad at work! We started off jumping on the trampoline of course, posing on mom’s motorcycle, playing some video games in the break room and exploring the rest of the office before heading outside to the Philadelphia Navy Yard to look at some ships. Kieran has grown so much since I saw him last!! I love seeing how my “moodybabies” grow through the years. This was a fun shoot, fun family and an awesome and different setting for a family session. Great to see you guys again!

Kendall and Matt had the most beautiful Cairnwood Estate Wedding! We managed to escape any threatening weather and had a beautiful June summer day. Kendall and Matt are way too cute together! We had so much fun photographing this day, family, bridal party and guests were so friendly and accommodating to us. The ceremony was on the front steps of Cairwood officiated by a judge and good family friend. Flowers for Friends provided the beautiful floral arrangements and bouquets. The bridal party was so much fun, they were up for anything! We had a fantastic time with them. Kendall’s dad brought his red Triumph TR6 for them to have some pictures in. It was as fun addition to the photos, I love old cars, and it meant so much to Kendall. They shared their first dance outside under the stringed lights and evening sky. EBE Monte Carlo kept the party going all night! Sage Catering did an amazing job with the food, everything was delicious and looked beautiful. Bredenbeck’s didn’t disappoint with the cake, beautiful and tasty cake, they are always one of my personal favorite bakers. Working along side me all day was Jackie Bayne of Love Shack Photo, great photographer and friend I was so thankful to have her along side me all day! Thanks Jackie! Also working with us was Life Images Videography, they had a team covering it all, was a pleasure to work with them for the first time.
