Sunday I met up with Antonia and Mark at the Bellevue for their engagement shoot. They are getting married next Saturday, yep next Saturday, at the Phoenixville Foundry. Its going to be a great time. Antonia works at the Bellevue so we had a bit of VIP treatment and the use of XIX restaurant, we also had brunch there and wow it was one of the best brunches I’ve ever had. Antonia and Mark really wanted some city shots since the wedding will be at the Foundry and so that’s exactly what we did.
Antonia’s co-workers threw her a sex and the city themed party, the type treatment is from the invite and I thought it would go great with this image.
We started off in the famous room of restaurant XIX.
LOVE their wine cellar. I love this. and this. This is just timeless. LOVE it. ha cha cha. This is a smoking couple. I have to mention the shoes if you hadn’t already noticed them. Hot stuff. We dressed down a bit for some more playful images. It started to rain a bit so we picked up the pace. We made our way through the subway back to the Bellevue to escape the rain. The last shot of the day.
So much fun guys! Looking forward to seeing you again next weekend!
Last fall Dave Williams and I did a little fusion project together. Two of his past brides happened to be best friends and also happened to be pregnant at the same time! Dave thought it was a unique opportunity to do something cool so we got together for a fun shoot! He just sent me a link to the finished video. I think its pretty cool! Thanks Dave. You can check it out over at cinema cake as well.
Last week I met up with Dina and Pat for their engagement shoot at Ridley Creek State Park. A little Prosecco to start things off was perfect. The bottle even fizzed over like in the movies, it was pretty impressive. Pat hearts Dina I love these tangled trees. very acrobatic There are a lot from this series that I love, but there is something about this one in motion that captures me. yummy light. more hearts Love this. It was a great time hanging out with you guys! The wedding is going to be a blast, see you before you know it.
I had a wonderful morning with Becca and Aidan last week. We started the morning with a great brunch at Valley Green Inn and were fueled for our trek through Valley Green for photos. I really enjoy the company of these two, I think we were laughing most of the time. They love the outdoors which is why we went to Valley Green, plus they live minutes away. So we strolled and took photos along the way. They will be getting married this August up in the Poconos, it is sure to be a great time.
Pretty good looking couple wouldn’t you say?
It was a gorgeous day! So many awesome spots to stop and get photos.
Aidan surprised me and Becca with this helicopter move.
This may be one of my favorites of the day.Why not utilize construction material? Another favorite. Aidan had us in stitches when I had them do a bit of running, this was the celebration. Without Becca and Aidan in this image you wouldn’t know how massive a space this was.
I love this.
We headed back to their house afterwords for a few images. They just bought the family home that has been in Aidan’s family since it was built in the early 1900’s.
I loved the in progress construction Aidan had going on in the backyard so we took advantage.
Their favorite spot
One last image in front of their new home.
So fun guys! I had a great afternoon with ya! See you in a few months.
Friday I spent the afternoon and evening with Marcy and Ed. Marcy was a student at Drexel when I worked there managing the computer labs and doing tech support waaaay back when. I was particularly close with a number of people in her class, so when she contacted me last year about shooting her wedding I was super excited. They will be getting married this November at PAFA, its going to be an awesome time.
We started out in their neighborhood so we could include their pup Chongo in some photos. Chongo is quite the little model not to mention she is a super sweet dog.
Marcy and Ed warmed up pretty quickly. I love this little moment. Marcy may kill me for posting this one, but I love her personality in this. We had quite a few nice moments and by the number of images in this post its obvious I had a hard time narrowing down images to show. Chongo, front and center! I liked their footwear, what can I say? We found a cool spot, such an eclectic wall.
Ha, they were excited for some action shots. One of my favorites. Love this too. buff like the hulk. The colors in this, ahhhhhhhh. They were jumping for joy! haha ok that was cheesy. But seriously look at that air! another favorite It was pretty warm on Friday, we were so famished and we deserved some Franklin Fountain. After the shoot we had an awesome meal at Elvez, yum yum!
We stopped downstairs by the bathroom area for a few more pics at the end of the night, the bathroom area is pretty cool there. And one final shot. Aren’t they a cute couple?! I had a wonderful time with you guys!
While I was home for mothers day I had the chance to meet up with and old friend from high school to photograph his family, ah facebook its amazing how it keeps you in touch with so many people!
This was a surprise Mothers day present for Brandon’s wife Tamra.
Brandon was always one of the sweetest guys in high school and all that sweetness has been transferred over to his little girls, Lily and Laurel. Its like cute overload in this house. I was welcomed instantly by them and Laurel, the youngest, crawled up to give me hugs not seconds after I walked in the door. Brandon and Tamra have themselves a wonderful little family, it was so great to catch up.
Meet Lily and Laurel
I can’t resist this little girl. Lily had an awesome bedroom for photos.Laurel is like the modern day Pebbles. Too cute. My favorite family shot. Lily is so sweet, not to mention energetic. She wanted to race me everywhere. I just love love this. Lily can swing really well and high! These guys are too cute of a family! I had a ton of fun with you guys. I am so glad the timing worked out so well.
Julie and James had a wonderful day! The weather was perfect and their families and bridal party were so much fun. To start things off I want to mention some of the other professionals that made this day come together so beautifully.
Julie & James did a first meet so that they could have all their photos done prior to the ceremony. Heather hung out with the guys and I with the girls. I love this shot Heather got.
some bling. I adore this moment with Julie and her mom right after getting dressed.Art by the lovely flower girl Meredith. Julie was simply stunning, heart stopping beautiful. And James, not too bad himself. We set up a lovely first meet for them. You can see more in the slideshow below. Those eyes, wow. One of my favorites. What is your wedding day without fun bridal party photos? I love this spot at City Hall.James, eagerly awaiting Julie to come down the isle. Sealing with a kiss! Married! Synergetic really spiced up the room with their “moody blue” lighting. The floral arrangements from Honey Bunches were awesome as well. This room was gorgeous. Its not called the Crystal Tea Room for nothing. First Dance This was during the cake cutting. Julie was cracking up at the spectacle of guests with cameras behind me. The night could not be complete without some fun dancing shots. Such a great day, working with everyone involved was a pleasure.
Julie and James, I couldn’t be more thrilled for you guys. You are a perfect couple and I thank you for letting me be a part of your day.
Be sure to check out the slideshow for many many more great images and moments.
