I had so much fun with Baby Kai! He is six months old, my favorite age to photograph babies! Such a cutie, so happy! He has a ton of personality Loves to look at himself in the mirror. May be a famous musician one day, he already looks like pro! The lounging in the yard look. Ready for a ride! Such a big mature boy for six months! He loves drinking water at bath time. So much fun, I love baby Kai! Enjoy the slideshow!
Where to begin? Really. Sara and Justin are simply wonderful, a breath of fresh air. We had such a fabulous time with them and everyone at the wedding. They were a vision of true love, I can’t really say more than that there are no words.
As usual let me first mention all the other professionals that helped make this day gorgeous, delicious and fun.
Wedding Planner, Beka Rendell from Innove. She was awesome and provided such a tender calmness to the day all while keeping everything under control.
Caterer, Ross & Owren. Delicious food with a cuban flare.
Flowers, Clarks Flower Shop. Some of the most beautiful center pieces I have seen. Every one of them was unique and inventive. Simply gorgeous. Not to mention the bouquets which you will see below.
Make-up, San Gilinsky. A personal friend to the bride and did a fantastic job!!
Cake, Whipped Bakeshop. Such an amazing art deco cake.
Band, The Source. These guys were awesome.
Dress designer, Jenny Packham. I LOVED Sara’s dress. Very classic, very art deco, and just simply stunning.
Second Photographer, Andrea Cipriani Mecci. So much fun shooting with you Andrea! I am getting spoiled.
Assistant, Stephanie Lugo. You’ll see some images from Stephanie here! I don’t know what I’ll do without her when her co-op is over in the fall!
The Happy Couple.
Sara’s amazing bouquet. It was incorporated with a bible that has been in her family for generations. The bible served as the handle to hold the flowers. It was so sculptural with the incorporation of flowers and feathers. I have never seen anything like it. Sara’s mom’s black chairs provided a wonderful studio setup. The brides maids bouquets were equally as gorgeous. This is perhaps one of the best groom reactions to seeing the bride, ever. EVER. I must give Stephanie credit for this one, she had the right angle and the perfect timing. You can see why Justin’s jaw dropped. Sara was simply stunning. There were many many wonderful moments. A small peek into Justin’s vows. Justin and Sara had probably the best vows I have ever heard. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the Temple. Going to the Temple in style! We weren’t allowed to move around at all during the ceremony, but that wasn’t a problem since there were three of us with cameras… This happens from time to time and hey its no big deal. I put Andrea on the brides side with guests and Stephanie on the groom’s side with guests. Stephanie had the perfect angle to get the next two shots. No moving around needed. 🙂 I loved the Art Deco and cuban flare the wedding had. By the way those cigars, they were chocolate. I still think about them. They were delicious. I LOVE this family photo. The day wouldn’t be complete without their pooch Tilly. She had a dress and a collar of flowers. Look at those smiling faces. The wedding was held at Sara’s mom’s house in Bucks county. The tent was one of the best I have seen. There was no shortage of dancing, that’s for sure. I can’t say enough about you guys. Thank you so much for having me out on your day. It was an honor.
Oh how I love this family. They’ve been with me since the beginning and this shoot was our last shoot at their house. They are moving to another area of town and gaining more usable space. There will be more shoots, just in a new space which I am also excited for. I last saw these guys in the fall and Orlaith has changed soo much! She is a year old and walking. Nuala is still as spunky and fun as ever, filling her big sister roll very well. I can tell she is excited Orlaith is more mobile.
This is how I was greeted at the start of the shoot. Oh so cute.her woobie of sorts seems to be the hair brush…. do we have a stylist in our future? Just makes you want to tickle that belly. Check out Nuala’s blue nails. Nuala is still queen of the monkey bars. And swinging super high. The movie star. Orlaith getting a turn on the swing, there’s that hair brush again! Love you guys! I will be excited to see your new space. Good luck with the move.
Thu and Alex are getting married at the end of the month! We got together last week for their engagement session. It was my first time meeting Alex, he was a tad nervous about the photos and there is a chance his buddies at work will give him a hard time. BUT I think he did a fantastic job, he may be a natural and not even know it. Thu has such a great personality and smile that its hard not to take a good image of her. These guys have been together for nine years! I think I’ll save their story for when the wedding post goes up, but these two have been through a lot together. I am excited to be part of their wedding. Anyway… want to see some images? It was a gorgeous day!LOVE LOVE this one. Before you ask, yes the sky is real. Yes it was that blue and yes it was an amazing day for photos! 🙂 My favorite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! See you guys soon!

Andrea was with the guys first. The button popped off Mike’s shirt so some emergency tailoring was needed.
This little flower girl was sooo cute. Mike eagerly awaiting his first look with Kimberly. The first look. Off to some portraits, this is one of my favorites. Kimberly was excited to get in the swing set. Mighty good looking couple! Another favorite. This too.. A few details Married! Some fun shots with the bridal party Mike a little embarrassed during speeches. “Pssst” has been their code word for I love you. Secret is out now! They could have been bad, but they were nice. Love this one of Kimberly dancing with her dad. An old fashioned cheers for grandpa who died a few months ago, he was there in spirit though. ha! Love this of dad dancing. Synergetic does a great job of keeping the party going to the very end! Kimberly was on the dance floor most of the night. Be sure to check out the slideshow, more fun stuff in there!
Kimberly in Mike it was a pleasure! Thank you for having us out on your special day.
Monday we met up with Mary and Chris in old city. They are getting married next weekend! These guys are fabulous. Mary is a dream to photograph. She is obviously gorgeous but she also has this fun bubbly personality and is always smiling as you will see. Chris and Mary have known each other since high school, they are great together. I can’t wait till next weekend. one of my favorites Mary always has amazing expressions. They have been scooting around the city on their buddy, so we had to incorporate the scoot in some shots. These guys are too cute. Thank you for making my job so easy!!!

We had such a great time with Nikol and George a few weeks ago. They live in London so planning this wedding in Philadelphia was a huge undertaking, luckily they had Erin Proud to help out. George’s family lives in the area and they loved the thought of getting married here. We have had numerous phone dates and a snowy engagement session leading up to today. Nikol has such a bubbly personality, she is so cute and she is head over heals for George. They do make a pretty cute couple! It was fun having many of their English friends at the wedding. They even brought their pastor friend from London. He entertained everyone and kept them on their toes by throwing a ball around during the ceremony.
Nikol getting ready
George and his guys A fun ring shot paying homage to England and the Scottish heritage in George’s family. Petals Lane, love Brittany’s designs. The bridal bouquet was gorgeous. A bit of fun personality Jackie caught before the ceremony. Married! I love this one. Nikol and George showing off some leg. Loved this wall if you couldn’t tell. This was my first wedding at the Franklin Institute. Its an awesome space! Nothing says Philadelphia like the Franklin Institute. We went up to the roof for some quick photos. The sky was awesome. Love this, awe. As per usual, some fun with the bridal party. I believe this is George’s teddy bear face. 🙂 To end the night a shot down broad street. I hope you guys are having a wonderful honeymoon!
I had such a fun time with baby Samantha last week! She is so cute and wow such a good sport with all the changing we put her through. Samantha is 6.5 months old, I love love this age. We are going to do a family session with mom and dad in the fall so this session is a solo session for Samantha.
Love those eyes!
Her favorite teething toy Just chilling in the living room. Showing off a little belly. Love this one on the changing table. Mom wanted some in her christening outfit before it didn’t fit anymore. It was good timing because it is getting a tad tight. Outside to enjoy the lovely weather. A little bubble bath in the sink. It was funny, we put the water on to see what she would do and she kept sticking her head under the water. I think she enjoyed it. She kept trying to grab the water. SO cute.
Lovely Miss Samantha you are adorable. I look forward to seeing you again!
