Christina and Rich are not my “normal” couple.  It seems like each year I get to shoot one of my good friends weddings and this year it is Christina’s turn.  Christina and I worked together at Drexel for almost five years which at this point is almost five years ago! We shared an office, we met everyday before work at the train station and went to the gym together, we did may things outside work as well.  I guess I am saying for almost five years Christina and I spend A LOT of time together. She was there for me as support starting up my Photography business, sometimes fighting with me on who took the lab camera out on the weekends… 🙂  (Hey it took me a while to save up for my own first grown up digital camera..)  All good fun.  So what I am saying is she has been a fan and friend since the start.  She knew back then that she would have me photograph her wedding….one day….. So this winter when she told me the news I couldn’t have been more happy for her (and even happier that I had the date she wanted for her wedding available)!

Christina is very involved with her church, she is a fabulous interior designer and an amazing athlete.  She has very high standards and especially when it came to finding a life long partner.  I always knew she would find someone wonderful, it may have been a long road or what seems to have been a long road but she finally found Rich or I should say they found each other.  Rich is a very lucky man to have Christina, they are a great match for each other.

I knew I would spoil Christina a bit for her engagement session, but it was also me wanting to spend the day with these guys.  And did we spend the day!  We started out in Media at the coffee shop down from Christina’s house and then wandered a bit of her Media neighborhood.  After that we headed into the city, had a picnic lunch behind the Please Touch Museum before going into the museum for some play time.  We ended in Old City, took some photos, had a great dinner and took some more photos before rounding out the day at the Franklin Fountain.  Quite the day!  But Christina deserved every minute of it. I am so happy for her.

I will be even more excited to see her in November walking down the isle to marry Rich! I hope my auto focus works properly because I will be balling my eyes out with happy tears.

Enough enough already, there are waaay to many photos here to look at.

Their engagement session was my first time meeting Rich and he is a real charmer.
