Melissa & Adam are so sweet together! They knew each other in high school, Adam always had a huge crush. Melissa was a little older and Adam was friends with her sister I. Well a few years ago they connected through Facebook and have never looked back. I won’t be shooting their wedding but I was excited to go out with them for some engagement pictures.

One of my favorites.

A little animated fun.

Congratulations you two!

Last week I met up with Rebecca & Glen for their engagement shoot. We kept it local to their condo development in Conshohocken. There were lots of awesome little spots to sneak into for photos and our timing for everything was impeccable.

One of my favorites.
Glen was all about getting on the train tracks. I put my foot down when he wanted to tie Rebecca to the tacks though… 🙂

They had taken me on a little tour of the lobby area of their apartment and I LOVED this wall.
I adore anything glass tile. They look so swanky here.
When we were inside we noticed the AMAZING sunset outside so we relocated and finished out shoot there.
I did not doctor this image. That was the real color of the sky.

Had a wonderful time with you guys! See you next year!

Bonnie and Jim are getting married this coming Saturday! Stephanie and I met up with them last week at Radnor Hunt to get to know them a little before the wedding. It was a gorgeous evening!

Bonnie keeps her horse at Radnor Hunt, some nice quarters this guy has.
We got to play with the puppy hound dogs. I could have taken one home with me they were so adorable.
Some friends coming over to say hi, well really to see if we had any treats….

Visiting the hounds.

I love the swing at Radnor Hunt. Always a favorite.

I think my favorite of the evening.

Looking forward to seeing you guys again this weekend!!!!

I had a fantastic time with Melissa and Mike! They are getting married in two weeks, its amazing how quickly time is passing this summer!! I really enjoyed getting to know these two. We have been in similar circles for a while but never really met “officially” until recently. Mike got into the scooter scene a little late but when he did it hit him hard and he quickly found an amazing community of people, which eventually led him to finding me. I’ve been to rallies with these two but never really officially met them, I admired them from afar with their cool VW shop van that they transport their scooters in. Good times. So anyway, I headed up to NYC a few weeks ago to hang out with these two for their engagement shoot. We had a great time!
Meet Melissa & Mike

8 is a lucky number for them and they are getting married in August so lucky #8!

Awe.
I found out that Mike likes to jump and is quite good at it.
Our last stop was the Unisphere. The location of the World Fair in 1964-65. I have always wanted to go there, it is amazing.

Yay!
The shoot would not be complete without including a scooter! Meet Mikes newest baby, the Lambretta Special X200. Making its debut appearance for this shoot.

One more time for the sake of it!
You guys are awesome and I can’t wait to see you in a few weeks!

Sandra & KC are real adventurers. In the summer they keep active rock climbing, water sports etc… in the winter they are both excellent snow boarders. They are going to Chile for their honeymoon actually….. to snowboard.
I didn’t think the normal type of engagement shoot was what these guys needed so I suggested we go rock climbing. (Having no idea what so ever what was really involved…..)
I arrived, Sandra met me in the parking lot said hello and then instructed me to put on a harness. KC had been there a bit before us and had set up some nice safety lines for me to tie into to feel safe and if I fell, well I wouldn’t fall far. Once I was up there I got a little height fright but soon got comfortable in my particular spot, I thought I might move around a bit more on the line provided but I was admittedly a tad nervous and anchored to my chosen spot. 🙂
After the bit of fun with them repelling down the cliff, that was the only way down soooo I had to go too. I had never repelled before.. KC is a great instructor, I felt calm and safe and he gave me all the time I needed to get my self over the cliff. It was crazy. It took me a while but I finally got down to the bottom safe and sound. (No I did not have my gear on me at this time. We packed it up safe and sent it down on a separate line. No big deal. 🙂 Seeing KC come down after breaking everything down on the top was humbling. He was down in like 2 seconds. My arms and body was still shaking when I got home.
Meet Sandra & KC
Crazy kids.

Its funny from some angles it doesn’t look that far. But as they got down farther it becomes more apparent.
KC climbing back up to get me.

I thought it was super cute that KC thought of this. He brought along a rope tied into a heart shape.
These two are tying the knot!

Super sweet.
A few shots with a shirt, ya know for mom. 🙂 It was my first time meeting KC and he definitely seems more comfortable without a shirt and Sandra has no objections.
It was a hot day and so a dip in the river was a real treat.

A little yoga on a rock.
The hair whip challenge!
Sandra wins.
You guys are awesome. I can’t wait to see you in a few short weeks.

I will be ringing in the new year with Kelly and Mike on their New Years Eve wedding! I am very excited, its going to be a great day.
These two just bought a house and so we thought it would be cool to take some photos there since there is no furniture yet.
We had photos taken the day we settled on our home and I love looking back at those images now that we are all settled in and I am sure Kelly and Mike will feel the same way about theirs.

Love their big red door.
Mike rows so we headed down to boat house row and spent some time at his clubs house.
This may be my favorite from the bunch.

Mike’s room-mate showed up just in time to tease him a bit and get caught in some images.
A little out take of Kelly that I really love.

These two are a great looking couple.
We ended near the waterworks
Thank you for a wonderful evening you guys! I can’t wait to see you on New Years Eve.

Racquel & Danny are two of the sweetest people. I had a lovely time with them on this shoot. These two first met when they were around the age of 13! Racquel’s Dad’s business moved them around a bit. She met Danny when they lived in England. They were just friends back then, until a few years ago when she went back to England and had a little reunion with some friends from her time there. Danny was in that group and the rest is history. He moved here not long after that and for they got married soon after that to ensure his stay in the US. So they never got to have a celebration with friends and family. That is changing this year. There will be proper wedding with friends and family surrounding them and celebrating them coming up in July. It will be quite the party and I am excited to be a part of it.
Danny brought along his guitar. The best way ever to start a photo session.

This is “Ridley” as we chose to name him. Just a stray cat at Ridley creek who chose to hang out with us on our shoot. He was very sweet and loving with a deep raspy meow. We were a bit relieved when at the end of our time there he went on to something else, if he had still been following us we may have taken him home… (Racquel & Danny have two cats at home and were commenting on how nice it would be if they would cooperate for photos. Well, Ridley was our supplement cat.)

Love this little moment.

So sweet!
Shoe comparison.

Danny enjoyed this exercise. 🙂
You guys are awesome. That’s all I have to say about that.

Too too fun! You guys are naturals. I look forward to seeing you in the weeks to come!!

I had so much fun with Sarah & Ben! Ben is hilarious and I was in stitches laughing the whole time. (Think of Charlie from Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia, he sounds just like him.)
These two are an awesome couple. They have been together since high school when Ben got the nerve to ask Sarah to the junior prom! Ben is the best friend of one of my grooms from last year, so I know what I am getting into with this crowd that’s for sure. (All good fun!)
“Lets do this” 🙂 (wink wink)
We started off with their pooch Harley. Handsome Harley.

What else do you do with a bulldozer in South Philly?

They love the view from South Street Bridge, so that was our next stop.
Just a little of their personality. This is what Sarah did to Ben when I asked her to surprise him…..

One of, if not my favorite.
I also really love this one.
This garage was amazing, so we decided to take a few shots in front of it.

At the spot where Ben proposed to Sarah.
To end the night we thought it would be fun to take the Buddy (scooter) out for a spin.

I couldn’t choose between this one and the B&W version below so I opted to show you both….

You guys were/are awesome. So much fun and I look forward to seeing you in October!!!

We met up with Marianne & Scott after our shoot with Kyle & Andrew. We met in Central Park and took some of Marianne’s favorite paths through the park. She is lucky that she gets to walk through the park everyday to work. These two are getting married in July up in the Finger Lakes, I am very excited to explore the area!

So many neat spots hidden in the Park that I had never seen. Loved this arch.

Adorable, no?

I was happy to have Don in NYC with me to help with some off camera lights. The shoot wouldn’t have been the same without his help, thanks honey!

Pretty amazing views from the park.

Something I just love about this.
We ended the night getting sushi at one of their favorite spots. Not only was it delicious but we were a bit star struck when SNL’s Fred Armisen and Abby Elliot were seated at the table next to us. Ya know, just another normal night out in NYC. Great end to a great day. See you guys in less than a few months!
