Contact us, get to know us, we want to get to know you. We would love to capture images of your life’s most important moments. We look forward to hearing from you.
I love watching these kiddos grow up! I adore this family and it all started when Mark invited me and one of my wedding couples up to take photos on his roof deck, who knew! Random acts of kindness blossom into new friendships and many captured memories. I think one of the best things about capturing this family is that we keep it totally natural. No such thing as posing here, though when necessary I give a little bit of direction mainly for the group family images. So enough of me rambling, enjoy some babies below.
Lots of time spent on the bed with these guys.
To the park we go. AJ LOVES chasing the birds. Watch out birdie he’s gonna get ya!
Quickly learning the art of golf, seriously this kid has great form.

Ah, babies! Oh how I love the babies, my moodybabies. This time of year its so wonderful to spend time with the families and kiddos. I spent some time with these guys to welcome new baby Helen to the family and celebrate the wild toddler that Sally is, Grandma was also in town helping out with the baby. Helen arrived just two weeks earlier so its been a lot of work in this house!

Hours of entertainment are had at the sink.
Dad and baby Helen were a tad exhausted and literally passed out before I left. It was such a pleasure to document this new time with baby Helen!
Check out the slideshow for many more photos from our shoot!
I had so much fun with Baby Kai! He is six months old, my favorite age to photograph babies! Such a cutie, so happy! He has a ton of personality Loves to look at himself in the mirror. May be a famous musician one day, he already looks like pro! The lounging in the yard look. Ready for a ride! Such a big mature boy for six months! He loves drinking water at bath time. So much fun, I love baby Kai! Enjoy the slideshow!
Oh how I love this family. They’ve been with me since the beginning and this shoot was our last shoot at their house. They are moving to another area of town and gaining more usable space. There will be more shoots, just in a new space which I am also excited for. I last saw these guys in the fall and Orlaith has changed soo much! She is a year old and walking. Nuala is still as spunky and fun as ever, filling her big sister roll very well. I can tell she is excited Orlaith is more mobile.
This is how I was greeted at the start of the shoot. Oh so cute.her woobie of sorts seems to be the hair brush…. do we have a stylist in our future? Just makes you want to tickle that belly. Check out Nuala’s blue nails. Nuala is still queen of the monkey bars. And swinging super high. The movie star. Orlaith getting a turn on the swing, there’s that hair brush again! Love you guys! I will be excited to see your new space. Good luck with the move.
I had such a fun time with baby Samantha last week! She is so cute and wow such a good sport with all the changing we put her through. Samantha is 6.5 months old, I love love this age. We are going to do a family session with mom and dad in the fall so this session is a solo session for Samantha.
Love those eyes!
Her favorite teething toy Just chilling in the living room. Showing off a little belly. Love this one on the changing table. Mom wanted some in her christening outfit before it didn’t fit anymore. It was good timing because it is getting a tad tight. Outside to enjoy the lovely weather. A little bubble bath in the sink. It was funny, we put the water on to see what she would do and she kept sticking her head under the water. I think she enjoyed it. She kept trying to grab the water. SO cute.
Lovely Miss Samantha you are adorable. I look forward to seeing you again!
I had a wonderful time with Meena and Max last week! You may recognize Meena from previous shoots, though she is getting so big. She is two, experiencing some of the terrible two’s but all the while being adorable. Max is such a happy content little guy, he is six months.
Maddy lounging on the couch, this is her spot. Meena being a sweet big sister reading to Max.Eating bubbles Meena’s dinner is open for business. A terrible two episode. Gotta take it all in! Shannon’s favorite tree. Funny faces Meena making her own lunch. Time for Max’s close up on the velvet! This guy is too stinking cute. Peanut butter face. You wouldn’t want to see this one in color. Much cuter in black and white. 🙂 Max was not ready for me to go, he is saying here “hey I just got warmed up! You can’t leave yet!” See, look how cute I am! It is always so much fun with you guys! It was great meeting Max, see you guys in September.
Many more fun images in the slideshow, check it out.
Most of you will recognize this back drop from his sister Maya’s baby photos. Roman is making his debut appearance on the blog today! He is so much like Maya, but all boy all the way. They both were blessed with their dads amazing blue eyes and their moms good looks.
He was ready and waiting in his moodybaby onsie!
toothy!
check out how big Maya is getting!
These kids are so good and so photogenic its crazy!
Roman front and center.
Gorgeous pretty baby Maya, not so much the baby any more!
I love everything about this. (you can see me in the corner of the mirror!)
Now that’s a family photo if I ever saw one!
George and Katria couldn’t be more thrilled with their baby boy.
Just to go back a bit, the feet thing is a bit of a tradition with this family. I love that we do similar things every year. Look at that Maya and how she has grown!
This years version
Roman is already so distinguished don’t you think?
Maya is such a good big sister.
Ooh I am just in love with this look! hehe it makes me smile every time!
Reading books with mom is still one of her favorite things.
Maya was soooo good and cooperative, seriously even in her crazy hyper fits jumping on the bed she listened and calmed down when we needed her to and she just followed directions so wonderfully. She truly earned this whirly pop!
Its a good thing Roman had no idea what he was missing.
Fun times twirling with dad!
Such a cutie!
Our traditional stroll to head house square.
Just like every year, we end on the same street. But this year Maya is not in the stroller, Roman is!
Oh this family has a sweet spot in my heart. I love them dearly. Here is a little note I got from them the day after this session, it pretty much sums it all up:
“Joy: Thank you, Thank you for yesterday!! As always, it’s such a pleasure to have you over! Last night Maya & I were looking at photos on the camera & when we came to the one where you are giving her the lollipop (with the BIGGEST look of excitement on her face!!) she said “I love her, Mama.” Thought you’d appreciate that!! We also shared the lollipop: Maya was licking one side & I the other & our noses would touch, which would tickle & we’d laugh hysterically! When Roman is old enough to have candy, we’ll need to get that shot of them!”
