Jayme & Ben, Manayunk & St. Joe’s Engagement Shoot

I met Ben a few years ago when he sold me my VW Passat!  He was not your “typical” car salesman, haha!  I obviously had a very good experience buying my car from him and we have kept in touch since then.  He had told me about Jayme and their dog, at the time there was no engagement but he knew there would be at some point in the future. I made him shake on it that he would call me whenever he did get engaged and hopefully give me a chance to shoot his wedding.  Well that happened this year!  I was very excited to hear the news and even more excited that he remembered to get in touch with me. Its been great getting to see Ben out of his work environment and meeting/getting to know Jayme.  They are a super fun couple.

They are getting married in January 2013 up at Bear Creek, its going to be a fun winter wedding!!
We started the shoot wandering around Manayunk, they happen to live right across the street from the house I lived at in Manayunk years ago. Was fun to wander my old neighborhood.

They met while attending St. Joe’s.  They both lived in the Lafarge Residence and actually met outside one cold night when the fire alarm went off.
We roamed around St. Joes for most of our shoot, hit all the spots of significance for them.
They are adorable, no?
Now you can’t have a shoot with a car guy without his car… Ben is of course a VW man.
It was so much fun you guys!  Looking forward to 2013!!

Melissa & Adam, Philadelphia Engagment Sessions

Melissa & Adam are so sweet together! They knew each other in high school, Adam always had a huge crush.  Melissa was a little older and Adam was friends with her sister I.  Well a few years ago they connected through Facebook and have never looked back. I won’t be shooting their wedding but I was excited to go out with them for some engagement pictures.

One of my favorites.

A little animated fun.

Congratulations you two!

Hutch, 3 years old! Main Line Children’s Photography

Hutch gets bigger and cuter every year I see him! (last years shoot) He is such a sweet little boy.

This year he is all about baseball.  He is actually really good too!
We took him for his very first ice cream cone! This boy was in heaven.
Standing in front of the ipod station is one of his favorite things, he knows his music.  He really wanted to hear some Britney Spears but I didn’t have the right song on my ipod and they didn’t have the song downloaded yet.  He was very specific, it needed to be “I wanna go”. He can identify the artists better than I can.
We went back out for another round of ball before bath time.
Hutchy does it all, runs bases, hits the ball and pitches.LOVE this.
We do the bath every year.  So much fun.
Just like last year we ended on the couch with pop-pop.
Always a great time with you! Thank you so much.

Be sure to check out the slideshow.

Dad seeing Kristin for the first time. Love this moment.
I liked the reflections in the mirror.
Gorgeous Kristin, love this one.

Love when long veils catch some wind.
These two are just adorable.
One of my favorites.
You can’t have a wedding at the Bellevue and not get some pictures on Broad street!
Lighting makes all the difference in a room!
Love this shot of everyone watching the first dance.
Then the mummers arrived.
I loved these reactions from mom during the best man’s toast. They were telling some embarrassing stories from when Dennis was a kid.Bellevue Hyatt Philadelphia
Good times on the dance floor!
Dennis got a little choked up watching Kristin dance with her dad.
Love these of his dance with his mom.
This is what over 300 wedding guests look like!  Some party, it was awesome. I feel very lucky to have been a part of it.
