Melissa & Mike, Westbury Manor Wedding

Melissa and Mike had a gorgeous day, great temperatures and they were married in the morning so they actually lucked out missing the large bands of rain and thunderstorms that came through later that day.  We had the best weather when we needed it!  These two are adorable and it was a pleasure to spend the day with them and their families.

Melissa was simply gorgeous.
Adorable, such charmers.
One of my favorites.
Another favorite.
Mike was very excited to see Melissa walk down the isle.
I love this.
Mike was so sweet wiping away Melissa’s tears as she said her vows and put his ring on.
Married!
They did a mini tea ceremony with their parents, Mike’s mom gave Melissa these gold bracelets.
They had had this figure made, from an artist in Sweden.  The details were exact from the Mike’s blue lambretta to the details of his suit, Melissa’s dress and her hair style.
Mike’s ring is awesome! Most creative ring I have ever seen. If you look closely the etchings in the ring read:
MikeLovesMelissa

Mike and Melissa have been together almost 10 years, but it was worth the wait. 🙂
Melissa busted out into some cabbage patch during their first dance, love Mike’s reaction.
Proud Papa
And the skies opened up! If you remember back as far as August you will remember all the crazy storms we had.
Some good time party people! We had a great time with you guys, thank you so much for having us out to capture your day!

After the ceremony they changed into their reception outfits. I love that the Bride wears blue to the reception.Joy Moody Indian Wedding
All ready for the reception! Party time!
First a stop in the bathroom.  Yes you heard me right.  I saw these mirrors in the lady’s bathroom and made it my mission to set up a few photographs with them and the mirrors.  You would have never known it was the bathroom if I hadn’t just told you, or if you were a guest seeing these pictures and saying “hey isn’t that the bathroom?!”
The lighting in the room was so cool, it changed from blue to red.
This cake was awesome.  So vibrant and in the style of a henna design.
Love this of Priya and her dad.
Mom looking on.
And the party begins.  This family knows how to PARTY!
My little protege, the one time of the evening he did not have his camera in his hands.
The Grandparents, can you tell I can’t get enough of them?
These two look familiar?  I photographed Saya and Chandan’s wedding a few years ago, Sunit is her cousin.  So I knew one side of the family going into this wedding and knew it was going to be just as amazing as Saya and Chandan’s wedding. Nice to see you guys!

Priya and Sunit, it was a great pleasure to be there to document your day!  I hope you enjoy reliving it a little.
