Jasmine & Josh, A wedding from Austin full of bluebonnets and love!

Ah! Its time. I know how you have been waiting for this moment. Its here. Grab a drink, maybe some tissues, get comfy and settle in. Josh and Jasmine I am very excited to show you your photos. Its KILLED me not giving you more teasers, tough but I stuck to my guns, I wanted you to have the FULL affect. 🙂 Everyone stay tuned for the slideshow at the end. Josh recorded all the music for me to use, its uber special.

First a few shout outs of recognition for those important people who provided for this day.

Flowers: Sarah Laja, Josh’s cousin. Amazing job on the flowers, they were gorgeous.
Caterer: Pink Avacado, mmmmmmm yum!
Band: Jabarvy, awesome group. Great jams, totally part of the family. You will see Josh jam with them……little surprise…
Second shooter: The Amazing Linette Kielinski. My trusted friend and amazing photographer who left her little ones for the very first time to join me for this four day trip to Austin. Thank you Linette, I am so happy you were with me!
Venue: Aunt Billies. Josh’s Aunt home and property was the location for this wedding. Such an amazing piece of land and will hold so many memories for the family for years to come.

A few details to start

Jasmine getting ready, taking it all in.
Josh perfecting his vows. 🙂
Some lovely little moments. (Lots of these throughout the day.)
Josh’s son Noah was a very good ring barrer. (Adorable too!)
Beautiful Jasmine
You guys are just awesome.
The boys out by the teepee.
Under the oak tree.
The lovely ladies.
Love it.
Jasmine’s pup, by her side always.
Beautiful Bride. 🙂
Oh how I love this photo. I gently convinced the little one in Jasmines lap to join this group for a photo. She was feeling very bashful and just wanted to be in her dads arms. The photo just wouldn’t have been the same without her and some how I managed to convince her to join. Ugh pulls my heart strings. 🙂 Such a great group.
Josh built the alter where they got married. He made the wall and also the wood arbor on top, which came from the tree beside it. They stood on the shavings from that piece of wood as they were married.
Everytime they visit Aunt Billie they will be reminded of their wedding day.
I love this of Jasmine and Noah before the ceremony.
Josh, ready to get hitched!
Bare feet so he could be connected to the earth as he said his vows.
A few nerves. 🙂
UGH this just gets me EVERY TIME! Jasmine saying her vows, Josh wiping away her tears as Noah cries on the side. Seriously, just amazing the love this family has for each other.
Noah, you are an amazing kid.
Its been hard to get through this wedding without tears because of all the emotion involved. Man.
Married!
YAY!

Hats off to the musicians.
Little moment with dad.
You guys make an amazing family. You are lucky to have such love for each other. This kind of love doesn’t happen every day.
The bluebonnets were simply amazing.
🙂
Great group.
A little fun on vines.
I LOVED this little moment, she had no idea I was watching her. There is a whole series of these, I particularly love this one.
First Dance.
I love how Josh beckoned his step-mom to dance.
Speeches were all very emotional and heartfelt.
I loved this little ‘moment’ in the background. In love and in their own little world. 🙂
The family tradition tarzan yell!
Beautiful cakes!
Have to go back to your roots a little. The New Mexico Zia symbol on the grooms cake. LOVE it.

Josh did a little jamming on the guitar and mic. He is multi talented. 🙂
We stepped aside for a few moments to take advantage of the sunset.
LOVE IT
It was a gorgeous day!
Fireworks to end the evening, nothing less than perfect.Thank you guys for everything. It was such an honor to capture this day for you! I hope the images provide you a lifetime of memories.

Don’t forget to watch the slideshow, its lengthy so you make sure you are comfy.

Love ya!

Kelly & Mike, Franklin Institute New Years Eve Wedding

What a fantastic wedding to end the year on!  Its been an amazing year and I am so so grateful to all my amazing clients/friends for allowing me to do what I love to do and provide them with invaluable memories.  Kelly and Mike have been wonderful to work with and all their friends and family were so accommodating all day long.  We had an amazing day, very uncharacteristic for a December day, it felt more like October. Last year we were under a few feet of snow at new years.  Kelly and Mike were so much fun all day, you’ll see very soon.

Lets get on to some photos……..but first the other wedding professionals that made this day amazing:

Venue: Franklin Institute, always a stunning venue!!
Flowers: Flowers by Yuke
Caterer: Frog Commissary, I will make a bold statement here and say that the meal we were served on this night is the BEST meal I’ve had all year. Mushroom risotto with a puff pastry and grilled veggies, nice sirloin steak (I think) for the “meat eaters”.  I could go for some right now, it was amazing. Not a “vendor” meal in the slightest. Top Notch.
Band: Jellyroll, these guys are awesome.  What a fun band, couldn’t think of a better band on new years!
Videographer: Pete Malone from First Floor Films, Pete is a talented videographer/photographer and one of my dearest friends.  Its always fun when we get to work together.
Second Photographer: Misty Dawn Phiel, so much fun to shoot with you again Misty!  I am so happy we got to ring the new year in together, thank you for all your great images.
Assistant: Eric Walbridge, my “thankless assistant”.  Thank you for coming out and being my light man all night. 🙂

Now the photos……

Christina & Rich, Cork Factory Hotel Wedding

I was pretty close to this wedding. Christina and I worked together for four years at Drexel, she was there from the very beginning as I started getting my business off the ground and running.  She was always one of my biggest supporters.  We shared an office and were very close during our time together at Drexel.  Christina would always have fantasies about when she got married and even way back then she knew she wanted me to be there to document her day for her. I wouldn’t have it any other way honestly.  Christina called me as soon as she knew she was getting engaged and knew the date she wanted to get married to make sure I was available.  Its kind of nice to know that my availability had some weight in them choosing their wedding date. AWE!  I am so happy she found Rich, they are perfect for each other in every way. I haven’t seen Christina smile so much in years and if you know Christina she is naturally bubbly person so add on love struck and man you have one beaming woman.

There were a lot of independent professionals/friends involved in their day, so there may not be websites for everyone listed below.

Venue & Catering:  Cork Factory Hotel
Flowers: Diane Komoroski
Video: Brock Pemberton
Make Up: Jaime Maurer
Hair: Sarah Beth Cooper & Jessica Weaver

Props to the bridesmaid to handled my camera very well!!A little behind the scenes shot. 🙂🙂Playing on the chalk board before the ceremonySuch an awesome ceremony. So much love in the room.Love these looks. 🙂
So in love!YAY!!The Cork Factory was beautifulChristina and Rich had a lovely first dance.  They split it up into two parts, nice loving slow dance and then a more upbeat fun swing dance.  Christina is an avid swing dancer and she has taught Rich very well, he looked awesome!I am posting this because this is just a total Christina expression. 🙂 Love it.They did their parent dances together.Christina’s niece had a great time on the dance floor. It was a lively dancing bunch.I love Christina’s expression in this! They were throwing Rich up in the air and I think he got quite a bit of “air” if you know what I mean. Then it was Christina’s turn! The night ended with a lovely sparkler send off!
Congratulations you guys!!Be sure to watch the slideshow for more!

Jennifer & Dan, Holly Hedge Wedding

Jennifer and Dan are such an awesome couple. We had a great time with them on their day. They faced many challenges dealing with the after effects of the hurricane, flooding in New Hope and a constant heavy rain on the wedding day.  BUT with all of that it was a gorgeous day because it was their day and their family and friends were so awesome, so fun and it was just a pleasure to be a part of a great wedding. Before I get too far here are some of the important professionals that helped to make this day beautiful.

Love these Mark got of Dan and his mom.
This little flower girl was very excited to see how pretty she looked.Hot looking couple.

First look. Jennifer is so gorgeous.
The bridesmaids and their home made rain ponchos. 🙂
We were so lucky to be allowed into a local farms barn to do photos.  We had a few locations that were impossible to shoot at because of flooding.
I hope to actually bring Jennifer and Dan back here to take advantage of the landscape of the farm and do some more photos.
We had so many obstacles that we didn’t get nearly enough time with them for all the photos we wanted to do.
That’s a pretty gorgeous group of girls.  Loved the purple dresses.
There was a ton of laughter all day long, it was great.  I love this shot.
They played one final joke on Jennifer before she went down the isle, saying there was an old boyfriend there to stop the wedding.  Of course they were kidding, love her reaction!
The ceremony was moved to a church right down the road.  It was a wonderful ceremony.
Love the flower girls reactions to the kiss.
Married! 🙂
