Abby & Kyle’s Old Mill Wedding

Abby and Kyle had a wonderful day. The rain didn’t get them down, some adjustments were made but eventually it cleared and the evening was absolutely beautiful! Abby and Kyle have known each other since grade school. Kyle has always had eyes for Abby and luck would have it that later in life they would be reunited and bring us to this beautiful wedding day. I couldn’t be happier for them and to have been able to document their day for them.

Venue: The Old Mill

Jill & Brendan, Crystal Tea Room Wedding

Wedding Photographers Phoenixville, PA | Moody Photographers

Jill and Brendan had a gorgeous day! This is the second wedding I’ve done for Brendan’s family so it was a little mini reunion of sorts. Its always fun around this bunch. Jill and Brendan went on their first date to Prom in high school, they ended up going to the same college, Scranton, and survived through it all! You’ll have to watch the video for a little more of the story.

Jill looked amazing, beautiful and classic, that dress was made for her. Brendan looked super sharp too. The guys had on special super man socks for the family tradition of the pants dance later that night. After the ceremony we went over to the art museum for pictures, I love the lanterns they have in the tree’s across the street. Its always a favorite spot when at the art museum. The reception at the Crystal Tea room as usual was beautiful and the staff is always great and accommodating to us. Jelly Roll never disappoints either, they know how to dance the night away. It was a great day, I’m so happy we could play a part in it.

Venue: Crystal Tea Room
Band: Jelly Roll
Flowers: Robertson’s
Lighting: Synergetic
Second Photographer: Pete Malone, as always a pleasure.

Liz and Dean, Whitemarsh Valley Country Club Wedding

Wedding Photographers King of Prussia, PA | Moody Photographers

This summer has been amazing for weddings. Liz and Dean had a gorgeous day, beautiful ceremony, fun portraits and an awesome dance party! This family is so much fun. I’ve done a few things for them and its always such a pleasure, you will smile ear to ear and always laugh hysterically with this bunch. (Horrible working conditions, I know. haha.) It was wonderful to see such excitement and joy from the guests and family that surrounded them on their wedding day. I’ve never seen so many people do the worm at one wedding! Good times Good times. Thank you for having us there to document your day for you!

Laurie & Chris, Greystone Hall Wedding

Laurie & Chris had an amazing day. A beautiful ceremony at Saint Agnes in West Chester and then portraits and reception at Greystone. It was a gorgeous June day. Everything about Greystone Hall is beautiful, it was so much fun to use it as a backdrop for portraits. Laurie is a graphic designer and she put many personal touches with her designs throughout the wedding. It was fun to find so many little elements that were so carefully thought out and just seemed to belong.

I loved the little moment between Chris and Laurie’s mom right as Laurie was coming down the aisle. Chris was feeling all those emotions and dare I say was tearing up (I saw Chris.. no denying!) so Laurie’s mom went and gave him a reassuring hug and pat on the back, just what he needed to get him through that moment. It was pretty special I have to say.  I’m glad I was there to witness and document that moment.

Anyhow, I won’t keep you any longer lets look at some pictures and relive the day through the slideshow.

Church: Saint Agnes Church

Cassie & Doug, Abington Art Center Wedding

Cassie & Doug it was such a pleasure to document your day! Linette and I had a fantastic time with you. I’ve known Doug’s Parents for a long time, I worked with his dad my senior year in college and directly after. I had always heard tales of Doug from his dad Bruce. They rebuilt a VW bug together and Doug drove it all through high school. As any parent does and should they always bragged about Doug and his music endeavors at school and how well he was doing with his band. Needless to say I already knew Doug before I even met him. Last year when they came to see me for the first time I was taken aback by this tall man with dreadlocks with a strikingly beautiful Cassie on his arm. Cassie is a tough chick, she works at various prisons taking care of inmates medical needs, yeah not your typical job but she loves it.  It was love at first sight when the met at Starbucks, where Doug worked through college. They share a love of a good espresso to this day!

We had lots of laughs and shared stories that first day we met. It was an honor that they wanted me there on their wedding day. I’ll stop yammering on and let you get to the pictures.

Venue: Abington Art Center, gorgeous place! I always love working here.
Caterer: Joshua’s Catering The food was all vegan, aside from some butter and cheese options.. And it was all delicious.
Cupcakes: Passion Flour Cupcakery, a friend of the couple as well. Amazing cupcakes.
DJ: Lovesick, Adam Levy, this was my first time working with these guys and they are fantastic! Love their approach.
Florist: Precious Petals
Officiant: Nalia from Journeys of the Heart
Second Photographer: Linette Kielinski, a dear friend and we always enjoy working together!! Thank you for contributing some of these awesome images!
The music in the slideshow is compliments of Doug, he wrote this song “You became my Dawn” for Cassie. She walked down the aisle to it. You can check out more of his music here.

Hilde & Brian, Aldie Mansion Wedding

When we arrived to Aldie we saw a girl running around the ceremony site doing work, at first we figured it was the florist. As we got closer nope not florist but Hilde! Working on her decorations. Girl was making a final decision on decor, to have a runner or not to have a runner. We helped her figure out what looked best and sent her on her way to hair and make-up. Michelle & Jace, Northern Liberties Engagement Shoot

I had so much fun with Michelle and Jace. We took pictures around their neighborhood and at their apartment, starting at Standard Tap where they had their first date. We didn’t time things exactly right and the Tap wasn’t open yet so we went over to Johnny Brenda’s for a drink and some photos there since it’s another favorite spot. Plus a cold one on warm day wasn’t a terrible idea.
